| Transition Planning Commission Bringing Listening Tour to Four More SCS Communities to Gather Input on Planned SCS/MCS Merger - Jan. 23 - Feb. 13 The Transition Planning Commission (TPC) has announced four more Listening Tour stops in Shelby County School communities during the months of January and February. The purpose of the TPC Listening Tour is to hear the aspirations and concerns of community members regarding the planned merger of Shelby County Schools and Memphis City Schools. The tour stops listed below are the first of several public forums that will be hosted by the TPC in school communities throughout Memphis and Shelby County.
