This week and beyond at ahs

Good evening parents, 

Please make plans to join us for AP, Honors and Dual Preview Night on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 6:00pm. Rising 10th-12th grade students can meet course instructors, preview the course syllabus and summer work. Course contracts will be distributed during the event.

A Dual Enrollment orientation meeting is also scheduled on Thursday evening at 5:30. The University of Memphis and Southwest Tennessee Community College will be in attendance. A Dual Enrollment orientation meeting is required for parents of students interested in DE courses prior to enrollment. If you cannot attend Thursday evening, the make-up date is scheduled for Thursday, March 1 at 7:15 am in the AHS Library.

• Friday, Feb. 23: "ACT, GPA, and Rank” Parent Coffee Talk presented by the AHS Counselors in the AHS Library at 7:00 a.m. Sign up here.

• Next week: Online Course Selection opens for the 2018-19 school year. Information has been shared with students.
• Thursday, March 8: TN Promise Meeting at 5:30 in the AHS Auditorium *Mandatory for Seniors accepting scholarship
• Friday, March 9:
  • End of Q3 grading period
  • Deadline to register for the April 14 ACT. Register online at ACT.org
• March 12-16: Spring Break
